When do the herring start running on the Cape?

A true sign of the arrival of spring is when the Herring start running. When will it start this year? Does the cold winter effect it? http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=d3gn774ToCw

The herring start to run when the water temperature reaches 58 degrees. This should be any day now.  I was hiking by the one in Harwich and the birds looked like they were getting ready too.
